History

The wine and olive oil production equipment field has always been in the forefront at Veronafiere, initially as part of the Fieragricola event as long ago as 1898.
With the creation of the “Vinitaly” Wine Show as a separate entity from the Fieragricola event held in March, the presentation of such equipment entered a second, more specialised stage alongside the promotion of wines.

1967- 1993
Vinitaly changed its definition over the years yet continued to present wines and wine-making equipment alongside each other.

1994
Vinitaly became the “International Wine Exhibition” and specialised in the presentation of wines.

1994-1995
The Enotech and Tecnolivo Equipment Shows joined the scheduled in the context of Fieragricola in March, while Vinitaly continued to include an equipment exhibition.

1995
The “definition” of Vinitaly changed again: it became the “International Wine and Spirits Exhibition” after incorporating Distilla – the event for brandy, grappa and other spirits – after seven editions from 1988 to 1994.

1998
First edition of “Vigneto & Cantina e Uliveto & Frantoio” (Vineyards & Wine Cellars and Olive Grove & Olive Oil Mills) held in an exclusive area within Vinitaly together with publication of a specific exhibition catalogue. Beforehand, the list of exhibitors presenting equipment was an attachment to the Vinitaly catalogue.

2001 to date
“Vigneto & Cantina e Uliveto & Frantoio” became “Enolitech” -the international Exhibition for Wine-Growing and Cellar Techniques/Olive Growing and Olive Oil Technology, set in a well- defined area in the Exhibition Centre in conjunction with Vinitaly.
Having achieved its definitive status, Enolitech has grown constantly over the years in terms of services, exhibitors and visitors to become one of the most important appointments for people seeking the most modern and innovative solutions for their business.
